What happened: An infrastructure change made on October 9 bypassed our standard testing process and failed to complete. While our team was clearing that failed change this morning, the configuration that serves our web application was removed, which took the site offline. We restored service by rebuilding that configuration, and we're tightening our controls so that all infrastructure changes follow our standard process.
